I have installed and uninstalled Easy Eclipse For Ruby on Rails... I still keep getting the same problem when I go to open the program "An error has occurred. See the log file C:Users|Rhonda Mayworkspace.etadata.log . When I access the log it claims that many thing were not installed properly. I am installing the windows version for windows 7. I have tried looking on other forums for the solution but all I find are users with the same problem. Can someone help me with this?

I tried to install easy eclipse server Java in Windows 7 in a 64 bit machine but it does not work for me. Is there any specific reasons for this? Any help is appreciated.
I downloaded the easy-eclipse-server-java-1.2.2.2 in a Windows 7 OS 64 bit machine and am trying to install it. It doesnot work for me. I could easily install it in WindowsXP and use it without any problem. For Windows 7 OS 64 bit I am getting the error :

System Setup:
Centos 5.3 (32bit) 1GB Mem Guest OS in VMPlayer/VMServer.
I followed the recommendations below and my problem was resolved:
(1) Installed xulrunner-devel.
Example Install Command: sudo yum install xulrunner-devel.i386
(2) Set MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME environment variable to eclipse directory.
Example Export Command: export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/applications/easyeclipse-lamp-1.2.2.2
(NOTE: Setting MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME to the firefox lib diretcory did NOT work for me.)

Hi, I have the answer for you Snow Leopard people!
The problem with Snow Leopard 1.6 is that java 5 is not installed and there are symbolic links pointing java 5 to java 1.6. You can fix it by going here: http://wiki.oneswarm.org/index.php/OS_X_10.6_Snow_Leopard
Follow this and it should start working fine.

I experience the same problem whenever I try to install *any* kind of additional plug-in. I got either the above error or one saying "Configuration problem...". Not even installing Subclipse was successful...
I love EasyEclipse, I use it everyday both for Java and PHP Projects... thank you for your work!

Looks great, but I was hoping to use the vimplugin for Eclipse. However, when I try and install from the plugin distribution site, easyeclipse refuses to install the plugin, complaining with:
RadRails (0.8.0.200707021211) requires plug-in "com.aptana.ide.core".

Had the same issue on Debian 5
getting the exit code=127 when lauching eclipse and the following from the terminal:
searching for compatible vm...

Solution:
installed xulrunner-dev
no more issues.
