JBoss Eclipse IDE is a series of integrated Eclipse plugins for building quality software applications. JBoss Eclipse IDE extends Eclipse and enables programmers to develop, deploy, test, and debug their JEMS-based applications without leaving the IDE.
Highlights of JBoss Eclipse IDE include:

• EJB 3.0 Project Wizard
• Hibernate Tools
• JBoss jBPM Graphical Process Designer
• Wizards to ease and simplify J2EE development
• Integrated debugging, monitoring, and lifecycle control of JBoss servers
• JSP, HTML, XML, CSS, and Javascript editors with syntax highlighting
• Easy configuration and deployment of package archives

Requirements and limitations

• Beta release - We have not yet fully tested this plugin. Please report a bug for any problem you encounter. We welcome your feedback (positive and negative!) in the forums, mailing lists and bug trackers.


• This plugin requires a distribution of EasyEclipse containing:
  • Eclipse Web tools editors
  • Eclipse J2EE Tools


• It may also work with a standard installation of Eclipse 3.1.2, if you include the Eclipse Tools plugin beside the plugins listed above. We have not tested it, though.


• To use this plugin, you need this additional software:
  • JBoss Application Server download
