CAP is a plugin for the eclipse platform and analysis the dependencies of your Java project. It opens a own perspective and displays the results in an clear way using different diagrams. Showing the weaknesses in your architektur, will help to improve the encapsulation. As a result your application will have a maximized reusability and a much better maintainability. The main approach of the analysis is based on a paper published by Robert Martin in 1994. It is called "OO Design Quality Metrics".

Requirements and limitations

• Beta release - We have not yet fully tested this plugin. Please report a bug for any problem you encounter. We welcome your feedback (positive and negative!) in the forums, mailing lists and bug trackers.


• This plugin will run with any distribution of EasyEclipse.


• It may also work with a standard installation of Eclipse 3.1.2, if you include the Eclipse Tools plugin . We have not tested it, though.
